I am from Chone-Ecuador. I graduated from Law School at UEES (Guayaquil-Ecuador) and completed the last year of my BA in Economics at Kansai Gaida (Osaka-Japan). Two years later, I obtained ,my Master's Degree in International Business Law from Utrecht University (The Netherlands). Currently, I am pursuing a Master in American Law from Florida Coastal School of Law (Jacksonville, Florida). I also speak 4 different languages (currently taking French). Three years ago, I became a Zumba instructor and submerged myself in the fitness world. I taught Zumba and boot camp in 7 different countries. FITNESS, LANGUAGES, CULTURE AND TRADITIONS have been my life for the last 7 years. The Nature Island Challenge is giving us the opportunity to become part of Nature and take our fitness to the next level mentally and physically. We can accomplish anything we put our minds into. My biggest motivation is to see others overcoming their obstacles and fighting strong to reach their goals.

Danny Schreier
I am from Currie, Minnesota. I graduated from the University of Minnesota - Mankato with Bachelor degrees in Social Studies Education and History. I grew up in a beautiful part of Minnesota where I immersed myself in nature all of my childhood. Fitness and the outdoors have been, and always will be, a huge part of my life. Upon arriving in Dominica I started the Waitukubuli National Trail and was immediately hooked. When I was given the opportunity to compete in this competition I could not turn it down. This will be one of the hardest challenges of my life, but also one of the most rewarding. I could not have asked for a better team. The competition better be prepared because team Domination is bringing it!

Kate Crothers
My name is Katherine Crothers and I've spent most of my time in Canada and Maine before moving to Dominica, so I am loving the tropical weather and constant sunshine (except for the rainy season). I went to school in Montreal and Maine and I volunteer as a public health nurse in Dominica. I am working on hiking the entire Waitukubuli trail and I only have 2 segments left to complete! I love all of the snorkeling spots on the island and being in the ocean. My favorite place on Dominica is Middleham Falls and Titou Gorge.

Wade Axelson, Team Trainer
I am from Wind Lake, Wisconsin and have a degree in construction management with a minor in business. I played college baseball at the University of Wisconsin Platteville and enjoy playing football, baseball, basketball, and golf. In my free time I love to hunt all different types of wild game, trap shoot, fish, hike, and have fun. My fiancé and I came to Dominica last August for med school and have had a chance to explore numerous parts of its beauty. I found out about the NIC through other spouses and was willing to take the challenge. I look forward to competing at a high level in the Nature Island Challenge and Team USA to come out victorious.
